These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern the use of the Duplicate Detector application for monday.com (the "App"), published by ETHANOLLE, a French SAS with a share capital of €1,000, SIREN 931 764 567 (RCS Paris), registered office at 58 rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, France ("ETHANOLLE", "we", "us").
By installing or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
1. The Service
The App is a board view for monday.com that scans a board for duplicate items according to rules you configure, and lets you resolve the duplicates found (merge into a master item, archive, delete, or mark as "not a duplicate"). The App requires a monday.com account; your use of monday.com remains governed by monday.com's own terms, including the monday.com Marketplace Terms of Service.
2. License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App within your monday.com account for your internal business purposes, for the duration of its installation.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, copy or resell the App; (b) use it to violate applicable law or third-party rights; (c) attempt to disrupt the App's operation or access data of other monday.com accounts.
4. Your data and your responsibilities
- Scanning never modifies your board. Items are only merged, archived or deleted when you (or a member of your account) explicitly trigger the action in the App.
- Merge operations archive the duplicate items (recoverable from monday.com's trash according to monday.com's own retention rules). Delete operations are protected by an explicit double confirmation; you are responsible for using them appropriately.
- You remain responsible for the content of your boards and for verifying the results of any resolution. We recommend reviewing groups before bulk actions.
5. Privacy
Our processing of your data is described in the Duplicate Detector Privacy Policy. In short: the App reads board data only to detect duplicates, stores the minimum needed, encrypts OAuth tokens at rest, and permanently deletes all your data within 10 days of uninstallation.
6. Communications
By installing or using the App, you acknowledge that we may contact you in connection with the App: support replies, service notices (for example a security or breaking-change notice), and occasional updates or offers related to the App and to Ethanolle's services. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by writing to admin@ethanolle.com or using the unsubscribe link included in our emails.
7. Availability and changes
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We may improve, modify or discontinue features; material changes will be reflected in the marketplace listing. We do our best to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, including where outages result from monday.com's platform.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ETHANOLLE disclaims all implied warranties and shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages (including loss of data caused by actions you triggered, loss of profits or business interruption). Our total aggregate liability in connection with the App is limited to the amounts you paid to ETHANOLLE for the App during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or €100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Termination
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your monday.com account. Upon uninstallation, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access in case of material breach of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
